KORLOY has launched a new grade, PC5335, for indexable drilling inserts. Its excellent versatility enables hole making regardless of work pieces ranged of P, M, K, S.
Built-up edges and breakage has been significantly decreased, which leads to excellent performance and stability. This becomes possible through a special substrate with high toughness and PVD coating technology of high lubrication.
Especially under conditions of frequent and severe wear and built-up edges, PC5335 ensures excellent wear resistance and welding resistance while cutting carbon steel or mild steel.
It features excellent performance along with the LD chip breaker for King Drill, when machining mild or stainless steel, and making holes at very low speed or feed. The PC5335, our new grade exclusively for indexable drilling inserts, is available in machining on various kinds of work pieces. It has been already applied to many of our hole making inserts and surely will provide excellent stability and performance.
