The TPDC is finally released to provide stable drilling capabilities and excellent productivity with its One Step Clamp system. This clamping design allows insert changes while the holder is attached on the machine, so that it could shorten the setting time.
The TPDC blade design is also upgraded to have better polished flutes and helical coolant holes in order to make it possible to get good chip geometry and stable chip flow in any material. As a result, productivity has been improved compared to the previous indexable drills for general purpose, with availability in high speed and high feed machining.
The TPDC inserts’ ultra-fine substrate and lubricative multi-layer coating enhances resistance to wear and chipping to show improved productivity and cutting performance.
