KORLOY has launched a new grade line-up, the PC2000 series, which is applicable to finish a wide range of workpiece materials.
The PC2000 Series consists of three different grades in total.
First, PC2005 is a grade for high hardness workpieces in finish milling applications. Its strong wear resistance shows a satisfactory result when machining press mold steel and heat-treated high hardness steel over HRC 50.
Second, PC2010 is a grade for high hardness steel and pre hardened steel in finish milling applications. A heat shield coating was applied to avoid thermal cracks. In addition, it was optimized for wet machining of pre hardened steel by using ultra fine raw materials and high binder on substrate for higher stability.
Third, PC2015 is a grade for carbon steel and cast iron in finish milling applications. Its high toughness fine substrate and lubricative coating film provide excellent resistance to wear and built-up edges.
